Medicare Rebates

Medicare rebates range from $84.80 to $126.50 per 50 minute session for up to ten sessions per calendar year with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). To obtain a MHCP you will need to be diagnosed by your GP with a condition that qualifies for the referral. This includes any anxiety related condition and depression. 

 Private Health Insurance Rebates

Most of the major providers offer a rebate for psychology services in their extras packages. Please contact your provider for the exact rebate offered. You do not need a referral to claim for private health insurance. If you have a GP referral or private health insurance for psychology, you will receive the rebate into your nominated bank account once you have attended your scheduled session.
